African inspiration

Another lovely hard working group, this time from Herts & North Beds Embroiderers’ Guild produced some experiments based on African constructed textiles, raffia cloths and an adinkra cloth from Ghana.   Experimenting with seams

Knitting & Stitching Show 2016

There are some stunning galleries at the show at Alexandra Palace and one I loved was Findings shown by Alice Fox. Her exhibits are thoughtfully displayed in a tranquil and serene space and a ‘must see’.
